Almost 20 years ago I started working for the injured in the legal field. At first, I assisted world class trial attorneys to organize and understand thousands of documents in a complex toxic pollution case against one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturer. Those attorneys taught lessons that no attorney learns in law school – integrity means everything. While earning a Master’s Degree at Florida State University, I earned invaluable knowledge of concepts of justice, fairness, and what that meant to the legal system and injured individuals. While attending Stetson University College of Law, I participated in the Law Review, a prestigious and coveted academic position, and graduated in the top 10% of the school.
For the past 14 years I have had the benefit and honor to ONLY represent those who have been injured because of the negligence and fault of others. I spent numerous years representing families who have lost a love one, or watched them suffer, in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or and the hands of their doctors or nurses. I continued on to help people inured as the result of dangerous products, premises liability, and accidents involving semi-trucks, motorcycles, and cars. Too many families are destroyed or uprooted because of the carelessness of others – I have helped them all. NEVER for the insurance or big companies.
Today, I am using my experience as a lawyer, counsel, and advocate – who has only worked for the injured, to make a difference with the integrity and service that is expected of someone who calls themselves an attorney. It is an obligation that I have worked my entire life to achieve. I have learned and will work daily to make sure that every person, business, and family I represent gets the individual and unique attention to their case that it deserves.
As a second generation Floridian and native of Saint Petersburg, I now have the unique opportunity and consider it an honor to represent members of my community that have been injured because of the negligence and fault of others. Prior to joining my husband, Chad Pilon, in his law practice, I spent several years representing defendants and large corporations in negligence and liability cases; which included both state and federal court trial experience. My diverse experience and insight with the insurance industry allows me to formulate skilled legal strategy and well balanced advocacy platforms for my clients, providing the best results possible.
At our house, we bleed Garnet and Gold and love cheering on the ‘Noles. After my 1993 graduation from Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, I attended Florida State University. In 1997, I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science, followed by a Master in Public Administration in 1999, with a specialization in budgeting and finance. Knowing that I wanted to practice law in the Saint Petersburg area, I came back to St. Pete after graduate school to attend law school at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport. While at Stetson, I valued the opportunity to compete on the Advocacy Board, was a legal Research Assistant, was chosen as a Student Ambassador, and was a certified legal intern with the State Attorney’s Office, Sixth Judicial Circuit. Following my graduation from Stetson University College of Law in 2002, I spent years practicing law in the Tampa Bay area; including time as an Assistant State Attorney with the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, work on behalf of a nation-wide corporation headquartered in Tampa, Florida as well as defending liability and negligence claims throughout the State of Florida.
Chad and I make an exceptional team and through our years of experience and distinctive practices, we will continue to advocate for the injured with integrity and provide unparalleled results for our clients.Contact Us
